Embarking on his Telluride Real Estate career in 1971, TD Smith has passionately participated, first in the re-birth and development of Historic Telluride, then subsequently in 1981 as a co-founder of Telluride Real Estate Corp. with the Telluride Ski and Golf Company. As co-owner of the marketing arm of the Telluride Mountain Village’s master developer, TD had a vital and inceptive influence behind the Villages beginning, as well as many other regional developments in which he was involved as broker or principal. TD’s excellent reputation in the industry was recently recognized by his peers when the “Lifetime Achievement Award” was bestowed upon him.
Further, that reputation is exemplified in consistently placing him in the top producing tier of regional Brokers of distinguished, upscale properties and the astute clientele he represents. His long-standing business philosophy is to build lasting relationships with his clients by identifying and sharing their desire to be intimately involved in a mountain community, whether for leisure, investment or both.
TD and his wife of over 40 years raised their family in the Historic Town of Telluride and have maintained active in all facets of the community from charitable organizations to government board positions. When asked about retiring his response is, “I wake up every day with new challenges and love cultivating positive changes in my clients’ lifestyles. Retirement is a cop out and more, or less, accepting defeat.”

Sarah’s lifelong adventure in Telluride began in 1997 when she traded her hometown of Bayfield, WI, for the breathtaking vistas and outdoor lifestyle of Colorado. Armed with a degree in Finance, Investments & Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she quickly found her place in the world of real estate. Her career took off in 2001, starting as a licensed assistant for 12 years, then as the business manager for Telluride Real Estate Corp. for a further 10 years. Now, she has come full circle to her favorite part of the industry—helping buyers and sellers realize their real estate dreams.
Sarah is not just a real estate expert; she’s also a devoted mother to her 17-year-old son Evan. Outside of work, you’ll often find her paddleboarding the area’s lakes, exploring Telluride’s myriad hiking trails, or hitting the slopes for some skiing or snowboarding. Her passion for the community shines through her avid volunteer work and active participation in local events.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Gran grew up spending his summers as a kid in Telluride. Gran attended Sewanee: The University of the South and Tulane University before moving up to Telluride. Before joining Telluride Real Estate Corp., Gran managed a fleet of luxury rental properties and worked with owners and renters while gaining a keen understanding of the vacation rental and investment property markets. In his free time you can find Gran venturing off into the surrounding wilderness with his wife Alli and their dog Mango, and attending our town’s wonderful music festivals!
