While visiting Telluride for one or more of the summer festivals, you definitely want to fuel up for summer outdoor adventures like hiking to waterfalls, ATVing, golfing, and horseback riding. Telluride is quite the foodie town with some incredible restaurants. For breakfast or lunch, try The Butcher & The Baker Cafe. The best spot for lunch on the mountain is the French restaurant Bon Vivant. Flora Dora Saloon is perfect for a low key dinner. If you want something a little more upscale (jeans are acceptable attire everywhere in Telluride) then try the Chop House at the New Sheridan Hotel or Allred’s on the mountain.

For the festivals stay where you can walk to all the fun. The perfect hotel for that is The Hotel Telluride. You’ll be just steps away from the festivities with this hotel that is in the heart of Telluride. It’s a boutique hotel with oversized accommodations. It is luxurious yet cozy. You can take your pooch along too! The Hotel Telluride is pet-friendly, which is nice since Telluride is a pet-friendly town.
