$1 Community Night Featuring Joint Point

Later that evening, the Sheridan Opera House hosted the beloved $1 Community Night. Doors opened at 8 p.m., and by 9 p.m., the venue was filled with the sounds of local favorite Joint Point. The event, known for its affordability and high-energy performances, was a highlight for many.

Heritage Plaza Concerts

Mountain Village joined the celebrations with live concerts in Heritage Plaza. On Saturday, April 5, from 2 to 6 p.m., Joint Point returned to the stage, delivering another electrifying performance. The following day, DJ Wombat kept the energy high from 1:30 to 5 p.m., culminating in a vibrant Purple Party from 3 to 5 p.m.

Hannorama Jamma Rail Jam

Saturday afternoon also featured the Hannorama Jamma Rail Jam at the base of Lift 4. From 3:30 to 6 p.m., snowboarders and skiers showcased their skills in honor of Hannah Smith, drawing crowds and fostering a sense of community pride.

Bikini Slalom & Closing Day Party

The season’s final day, Sunday, April 6, was marked by the iconic Bikini Slalom at Gorrono Ranch. Participants, dressed in creative costumes, raced down the slopes from 1 to 3 p.m., vying for prizes in various categories. The festivities continued with beach volleyball, corn hole, and a DJ spinning tunes, ensuring the season ended on a high note.


Looking Ahead: Summer in Telluride

While the ski season has concluded, Telluride’s allure remains. The town seamlessly transitions into a summer paradise, offering hiking, mountain biking, festivals, and more. The gondola, a staple of the town’s transportation, will resume operations on May 21, 2025, providing scenic rides and access to various trails.
