Cosmopolitan Restaurant

Originally a grand saloon in the bustling mining camp of Telluride, the Cosmopolitan has been transformed into a hub of fresh and innovative cuisine by Chef Chad Scothorn.

With a sleek and simple design, this elegant 70-seat restaurant is located at the base of the gondola in downtown Telluride, inside the Hotel Columbia. Known locally as “Cosmo,” the restaurant features a welcoming entryway with a custom cherry wood bar, the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Downstairs from the main dining area, The Tasting Cellar provides a unique and intimate space for private parties of 12 to 32 guests. The rustic, candlelit wine cellar offers an exceptional ambiance for group dining, with customized menus and wine pairings available.

The Cosmopolitan is open for dinner every night, and guests can indulge in Chef Scothorn’s innovative creations while taking in the stunning mountain views. Whether you’re looking for a romantic evening or a memorable group experience, the Cosmopolitan is the perfect destination for exceptional cuisine and unparalleled service.
