The Telluride Plein Air Festival is an annual art event that supports the Sheridan Arts Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring and preserving the Sheridan Opera House while promoting quality arts and entertainment in Telluride.
Each plein air art sale contributes 40% of its revenue to the SAF, supporting community programming at the Sheridan Opera House. Visitors can witness top-notch plein air artists at work during the festival, and enjoy the two-hour quick draw competition and VIP Artist Choice Preview Party, which features each artist’s favorite piece from the week.
The event culminates in a three-day sale where the artists showcase their work from the week-long festival.
