Ice Skating

Ice skating is a beloved winter activity that visitors to Telluride can enjoy. There are various ice rinks available, including indoor and outdoor options.

The Hanley Ice Rink is a refrigerated, indoor rink that offers public skate/figure skating, ice hockey, and curling programs. It also has auxiliary spaces available for non-ice-related rentals.

The Core Area Ice Rink and Volleyball Ice Rink are two outdoor rinks located in Town Park that are ideal for family fun, but are weather dependent and usually open in December.

For those in Mountain Village, the Madeline Hotel and Residences operates the Mountain Village Ice Rink. It offers daily open skating and special events on the European-style plaza. Visitors can rent hockey and figure skates of all sizes, as well as purchase punch cards and season passes.
